The Snowsweeper
The air is even grey, the temperature drops below zero and the weather forecast gives the appropriate prediction: snow, and not so little too.
With a deep sigh, Judocus Polleman, former agent second class, grabs for the broom to sweep away every snowflake falling on the mayor's sidewalk as quickly as possible. A little further, colleague Storm, the lapzwans, does the same. No thinking that such a person gets the sidewalk as nicely clean as he himself and that is very important too. After a rather unfortunate adventure that ended in a French castle, he was downgraded from the police to snowsweeper second grade, but hopefully there's still a promotion to snowsweeper first class. And who knows, just maybe, there's even more possible. Chief sweeping, maybe? The first flakes fall, frantically he starts his sweeping job...
