It was a rematch match for the finals of the Women's World Cup in 2019, and the orange leagues had great hopes to make up for the loss of that time. Unfortunately, however, they did not enter the game for a moment. The final results were the same as at the time.
Is that a disaster? A surprise? I don't think so. The American football players are by far the best in the world. Fortunately for the lionesses, the visor was far from sharp.
But what about that fabulous splitting depth pass of Lieke Martens? The former European football star of the year really showed her qualities. It was a sad replay ball, right in American feet. The goal (1-0) was beautiful, but Martens's share is deplorable.
In the Middle Ages, the branches would be piled up high. Then the stake Lieke would have been wholeheartedly awarded. And now?
