Stumbling stones - also known as Stolpersteine - are stones that determine the streetscape in places where Jews were victims during the Second World War. They lie here and there in the world, including in our country. And soon also in the city of William of Orange, prince-city Delft.

About these stumbling stones is the next poem; a so-called tanka.

Stumbling tanka

A stone for Jews
is no longer prohibited.
Delft follows in line.
Soon the first stone.
This is called “stumbling sensation!”
