The music world lost on Friday, February 2, 2018, another icon, namely The Temptations foreman Dennis Edwards. The vocal direction of legendary band Edwards' time with The Temptations brought us hits like 'I can't get next to you', 'Ball of Confusion'' 'and Papa Was a Rollin'Stone'. Dennis Voorman died at the age of 74, during his recovery from a recent aneurysm, just 1 day before his 75th birthday.

The Contours

He was originally part of The Contours (which supported The Temptations), but Edwards replaced David Ruffin in 1968 and was in and out of the lineup to 1988 over the decades, when Ali-Ollie Woodson took over. Edwards was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the group in 1989.
