The Sinterklaas SURPRISE I will never forget

I think I was in the fifth grade of elementary school. Nowadays, that's group 7. #surprise , but my parents had also bought some gifts. We all had the gifts beautifully wrapped with a poem. I was the youngest so my poem might not have represented so much. But all that gave nothing. It was just really cozy. So when my father wanted me to bring up my cacti that I had been given, I didn't want that at all. But with a lot of reluctantly, I went to do it anyway. The last thing I wanted was for the conviviality to end because I didn't listen. After I brought the cacti to my bedroom I sat back on the couch with the rest and took a handful of peppernuts. It wasn't long before my brother and sister started laughing. And a little later my parents, too. I asked why they were laughing. I wanted to be able to laugh too. The result of my question was that they only laughed louder. At one point, I heard air escape somewhere. I thought it came from the doll my brother made because it had balloons. But the balloons were still whole and everyone started to laugh even louder. I didn't understand anything. And also didn't like the fact that she didn't tell me why they had to laugh so much. So at least half an hour went by. Then my father thought it had taken long enough and suddenly I heard a bicycle bell. A bicycle bell in the living room. How strange I thought. I walked up to the sound and just bumped into the bike that stood against the closet. And that's when I saw that bike. The bike I wanted so badly but thought I wouldn't ever get. That's when I understood why they all laughed so much. There was a bike in the living room in front of me, and I just didn't see it. Then I also understood why I had to bring up those cacti so necessary. It remains extraordinary that you just don't see something because you can't believe there is. But that's why I will #sinterklaasavond Never forget!
