The Venezuelan Waltz
The cultural background introduced in a young and thriving Venezuela with the arrival of foreigners in search of a better future stimulate the welcome of one of the most beautiful and expressive manifestations: the waltz.
The European influence marked back then in the nineteenth century fueled our cultural diversity, ballroom dancing and music to liven it up with time underwent changes to adapt them more to the way of being of the Venezuelan, his performance with piano as ballroom music, led to the incorporation of instruments more affordable and typical of the region, hence the incorporation of the guitar, four, mandolin, among others; receiving the name popular waltz.
