The village of one million ghosts

The wind starts to blow as if warning me of the obvious dangers ahead.

I stop, look around and blow my hands warm. My mind wanders about what the myths and folklore say about this city.

"It's only one night..." I whisper to myself.

I sigh, stop for a moment and then continue my journey. The old houses urgently need a good coat of paint, moss grows through and on the wooden planks and the windows are dirty.

'Stupid stories… Tourist attraction. Nothing anymore.'
