The warm affection of Maracaibo
#venezuela What do you think of this sunrise? For those who are not from Venezuela, I took this picture from my window, at 5:45 in the morning.
As you can see, the sun was drawing impetuous, eager to warm up and illuminate throughout the day.
And this is what my city is like, hot, very hot. So much so that it is known as: “The land of the sun beloved”.
That's the Lake of Maracaibo and the sound of its waves is what relaxes me on those not so good days. I can't say good things about the lake. Unfortunately he is very neglected. Oil activity has wreak havoc and its degree of pollution is very high.
In fact, NASA has already issued a statement warning of the high degree of pollution that Lake Maracaibo has. What a sadness!
However, I appreciate the beauty, the good, the peace and the calm that it gives me when I observe it. I focus on its waves, on the sound it makes, and on its wonderful view.
Today I wanted to share with you this landscape, which I admire every morning when I wake up or every sunset whose colors dazzle me.
