As a witch, of course I also use herbs occasionally. and one of my absolute favourites is cinnamon. I love cinnamon. the smell alone reminds me of autumn, cosiness and speculaas.

Cinnamon is extracted from the inner bark of the cinnamon tree. There are multiple varieties, but the best cinnamon is still from Ceylon. Cinnamon has a very typical smell and taste, so you don't like the OR.
Everyone knows cinnamon as the spice for the speculaas, herb cake, sandwiches, pancake batter,. . However, cinnamon helps against various ailments such as depression, cystitis, flatulence, cramps, pharyngitis and furthermore it is also known as aphrodisiac and has an antibacterial effect.

Tip to keep your home smelling, especially in autumn. Of course, you can put cinnamon oil in a nebulizer. but here and there a slice of orange with some cinnamon smells 10 times more delicious and inviting. Together with my children, I always made it a piece of decoration with some pine cones and nuts and the like.
Cinnamon is also often blown gently through the entire house from the outside door at the beginning of a new month, so prosperity blows through the house during the month.
