The evolution of life, however, was interrupted by an ice age period. Ten years ago, the Earth was completely covered in ice and snow. This lasted for millions of years
Then, thanks to volcanic eruptions, the Earth warmed up and the living organisms that had endured the ultimate cold and harsh living conditions came out of hibernation or limited development. Their response in the Cambrian was an explosion of life developments.
The Oceans were completely filled with it.
