The Wounded Butterfly

Once I read a very good story, which is found in one of my favorite books, it's called “It's the cow's fault”

One child said: “God, talk to me”.

And then a lark from the field sang, but the boy didn't listen to her.

The boy exclaimed, “God, talk to me!”

And thunder rang all over the sky, but the boy didn't hear it.

The boy looked around and said, “God, let me look at you.”.

And a star lit up, radiant, but the boy did not notice.

And the boy shouted again, “God, show me a miracle”.

And a life was born from an egg, but the boy did not notice it.

Crying desperately, he said, “Touch me, God, to know you're with me.”.

God bowed down and touched the child. But he shook the butterfly.
Many times the things we overlook are the ones we've been looking for.
