In today's times of staying at home and nightlife that are practically locked, it's a good idea to explore what Netflix has to offer. I go off my list and think about what I can watch: Altered Carbon season 2, Ozark season 3, second half of Suits season 7. At that moment (about a week ago) I knew very little about this except that it was just on Netflix and it attracted the attention of a lot of people.

After some insistence we started looking and what a story this is! Tiger King is a 7-part documentary series about the eccentric Joe Exotic, a zoo owner in Oklahoma. Joe's zoo, GW Zoo, specializes on the big cats like tigers, lions, wearers and everything around it.

The Netflix team follows Joe for several years and gives a look into his life as a zoo owner and also as a person. In addition to his partners, employees and family speaking, Carole Baskin of Big Cat Rescue has a prominent role to play as Joe's rival. In Carole's eyes, Joe is doing everything illegally in terms of caring for and preserving the animals at the zoo. In Joe's eyes, Carole is a hypocritical woman who drives her way at all costs.

I thought this was purely a documentary about how this guy ran his zoo, but as more cases came up, I wanted to see more and more. Louche cases, lawsuits, lies and accusations are the main lines of this documentary and in this it is clear that Joe Exotic's story was anything but ordinary.

Even it is already that spinoffs and/or sequel series are planned for this series. Definitely worth a look. #tigerking #netflix
