Nepal's second biggest festival 'Tihar' has already begun. It is celebrated for five days where crow, dogs, cows are worshipped.

Today is day to worship Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. She is worshipped with new addition of utensils of gold and silver at home. She is believed to pass by night and to welcome her,the house is illuminated with lights.

Tihar is also called festival of lights as Nepali houses glow with many lights traditional or modern.

I am writing a detailed post about Tihar and its tradition to worship many animals. The last day is celebration between brother and sister and anyone would love the tradition behind it. I will post it soon.
