Tineke Verburg became known nationally as presenter of several television programs at the TROS, including TROS Triviant, Aktua Medisch and Tien voor Taal.

Verburg exchanged the TROS for RTL in 2001 after more than twenty years, where she presented the Netherlands in Company. She was also the face of VakwerkNL and Supervrouwen, who was her last programme on television in 2015.

In 2010 Verburg also made her entrance on the radio. She presented the program TROS in Company with Peter de Bie. She also taught communication and presentation training from people from business and politics.

Verburg started as a broadcaster at TROS

Verburg, born in Utrecht, started her television runway in 1979 as a broadcaster at the TROS. “She was immediately a welcome guest in the Dutch living rooms, and the distinctive sweaters she often wore were also very popular,” writes AVROTROS.

Verburg also had a guest role in the television series Bassie and Adriaan in 1994. In her years at the TROS, she also accompanied broadcasters, new presentation talents and reporters. With Robert Blom she also wrote a book for start-up entrepreneurs in 2001: Jong in Business.

Verburg leaves behind a son and a grandson.
