Having a garden at home could be the first big step in changing your lifestyle towards a healthier, more responsible and environmentally friendly one.

Home gardens favor short agri-food chains, which are the healthiest and most environmentally responsible food and consumption models.

Always use recycled materials.

You don't need to buy large utensils to form a garden at home. In fact, it is best to buy as little as possible and use recycled materials or materials that we already have at home or in the community.

Start with the friendliest vegetables.

Lettuces, radishes, arugula and garlic are vegetables that are easier to grow than others, and they adapt easily to orchards that are made in small plastic containers, the size of which can limit the development of some vegetables.

Radish, serrano pepper and spinach are vegetables that, in addition, are given all year round.

And more importantly make it biodiverse. That various vegetables are grown in it at the same time as aromatic or medicinal plants, and flowers.

This will help to achieve a balanced growing space, where we can attract beneficial fauna to help us control possible pests and diseases.
