The Allianz Ironman 70.3 Cartagena triathlon competition, with more than 2 thousand athletes from different parts of the world who sought glory in 2019, one of the most important triathlon competitions in the world.

From La Boquilla, Manzanillo del Mar, Punta Canoa and Arroyo Grande, the athletes turned and returned to the Walled City to meet the last segment of the competition consisting of the 21-kilometer athletic race (half marathon) throughout the interior of the Walled Center.

Among the figures that participated was Oriana Chávez, national and world champion with several records.

There will also be actors Andrés Parra (cycling), Julián Román (cycling), Elkin Díaz (swimming) and Vicente Peña (swimming); sports presenter and speaker, Johana Moreno (athletics); journalists Sylvana Gómez and Diego Santos in the athletics category; Esteban Santos (cycling); and digital influencer and winner of the Challenge Super Humans 2017, Mateo Carvajal (athletics).
