On the couch at Sebastiaan
Follow-up story Kalle en Pietje, part 10
A few days later, Kalle and Pietje sit next to each other on the couch at Sebastiaan's house. They're pretty nervous because tonight's about their future. Especially Pietje has a hard time.
Sebastian doesn't grow grass over it. After starting prayer, he immediately asks them why they are so close to each other. And he sees two faces completely red.
Kalle is the first to find the words. He tells frankly that they're in love with each other. To which Pietje complements, that the butterflies in her belly do their best to repel themselves as well as possible. Moreover, she states, love is still a gift from God. After all, that's in a song in the Bible that Kalle told me about.
