Every profession has its peculiarities, which is just part of the job. My job: I have been a public transport bus driver, for almost 20 years.

In the challenge Top 10 of “Small” my contribution: the bus driver's annoyances. annoyances, not only of myself, but also my colleagues, although the order of the top 10 can change, of course :-)

Number 10: No hand, no customer. I arrive at a bus stop where several buses of different lines, in different directions, stop. There is a passenger, pressure in the weather with the mobile phone, it does not look up or over. I drive quietly, look at the person, this one looks back but doesn't respond. I'm going to the left and kicking my accelerator. The moment I drive past the passenger starts to sign wildly, and look at the mouth. Sorry, no hand: no customer!

Number 9: Too loud music on headphones. When you're wearing headphones and listening to music, you'll no doubt assume that you won't be bothered by anyone, after all: that's why you're wearing those headphones. However, there are a lot of headphones/earphones that seem to produce more outward sound than in your ears. If it's one person, it's not that bad, but when ten different passengers with different music have an outward headphones on them, the bus driver gets crazy.! Your fellow passengers, by the way.

Number 8: Find your OV chip card at the last minute. I'm assuming you don't decide to go by bus overnight (especially if you're already at the stop). Why find your map if you're already on the bus? Just keep that thing handy. Oh yeah, keep it on the bus too: searching for your map if you want to get off is also annoying!
