We have become quite dependent online on a small number of large platforms, as shown in the infographic of best visited websites (source: Visual Capitalist). Google, Youtube and Facebook are increasingly determining what we see. Google has 60 billion visitors on Google.com alone. And Youtube also makes a big deal in the online bag with 24 billion visitors.

The infographic makes it clear at a glance that the concerns about privacy, security and monopoly of these powerful Bigtech companies are very justified.
