Tourette

People with tourette syndrome make movements or sounds out of the ordinary, called common tics without flashing and carrasping. They may repeat words, turn or rarely say rude words suddenly.
Tourette syndrome is a disorder of the nervous system. It usually happens with others such as attention hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression.
The cause of tourette syndrome is unknown . It is more common among boys than among girls. Tics usually begin in childhood and may get worse at the beginning of adolescence.
No treatment needed unless tics interfere with everyday life. Enthusiasm or worry can make tics worse. Calm, focused activities usually improve symptoms. Medicines and talk therapies can also help.

I have a great co-worker who has him and leads a normal life, he is aware of his situation but does therapy and tries not to get stressed so that he does not get those “attacks” of snapping or ringing his fingers and he even jokes us telling us to lower him 2 to intensity or his tourette side will appear.
