Travel blog day 11 (part 2): Valun on the island of Cres, Croatia.

After our visit to Lubenice (see previous blog), we drive back along the road with the walls, hoping that we won't see many oncoming traffic.

We take a winding road down to the port town of Valun, on the south coast of Valun Bay. This place is much more recent. It has a nice pebble beach, not many inhabited houses, but especially a lot of cozy restaurants.
There are many flowering bushes along the water that attract butterflies. This king page posed willingly for the photo.

(And my camera happened to be at a low pixel count, suitable for sending photos via email). That's why I'm temporarily not posting extensive photo blogs. They get blurry when I insert them via the photo editor.)
