Travel blog day 14: walk to San Salvadur Church on the island of Cres, Croatia.
Although the weather is a very hot day with little wind, we decide to walk.
We find a walk online, from the boulevard near Cres to a viewpoint: the church of San Salvadur.
However, we will leave at the ancient olive groves, where you can easily park your car near one of the campsites.
The advantage is also that you no longer have to fully climb there, because the parking spaces are already at a certain extent.
The olive grove is marked with — how could it be otherwise ? — stacked stones that form walls.
The hiking trail is also often walled, which makes it even warmer.
Moreover, this way you don't get the chance to walk in the shade of the trees. They are too far from the path in most places.
The walk itself isn't special, unless you take the time to look back. Then you see the capital lying in the depths of the bay.
