At 730 am we are already having breakfast, after spending the night at the foot of the Alps, in Bernau, where we hear the cowbells blaring happily in the morning.


At 8:30am we are on our way back to Austria.
The more we approach, the more the clouds thicken against the mountain tops.

We don't waste time buying a vignette just across the border. We already did this digitally from home. These digital vignettes work with license plate recognition. Always exciting, but it works.

Austria lives up to its reputation.
We cross the country completely and see the clouds becoming fuller and more threatening, after which we also regularly get a gust of rain. On the way, we pass a toll road, to drive through a tunnel.
We have also already arranged the Karawanken Tunnel digitally, so we can get through it quickly. Just slow down, let the camera register our license plate, and we drive through the almost 8 km long tunnel that connects Austria to Slovenia.
