Travel blog day 8: Malinska and the abandoned Haludovo Palace hotel
It's 30 degrees again and the sun is burning mercilessly over the Croatian island of Krk.
We leave on foot, shortly after noon, hoping that the coastal hiking trail 'Rajska Cesta (Paradise Road') from the port city of Malinska to Njivice will be a bit windy and that we will cool off under the pine trees that frame the path.
We don't find much cooling there. The light breeze that occasionally passes is no match for the scorching sun shining through the trees.
We will visit a lot of beautiful bays.
It's the weekend, so they're full of sunbathers laying their mats on the rocks, tying their hammocks between the trees and sitting on the rocks.
Some boats also found the beautiful spots.
Since Malinska is within walking distance (about 800 m) from our place of residence, we decide to take an evening walk there.
We stopped by the abandoned Haludovo Palace hotel earlier. After some research, we became very curious.
