Triqui, triqui Halloween, I want candy for me”

“Triqui-Triqui, Halloween, I want candy for me. and if you don't give me, I'll break your nose”.

In a country of popular myths and legends such as Colombia, the great popularity of an imported holiday is very curious, this celebration is celebrated as another carnival, a festival where it is estimated that 71% of the population celebrates it, the diabolical sense of the party is little left, it is more of a commercial sense that infects us, where the trade takes advantage of getting their best deals, shopping centers offer their best decorations, sites and places make their best sale.

And even though in Colombia we know that our traditions are different, and that we are more linked to the day of souls and all saints, which is on November 2, in which we go to a mass.

But the merger of the 'Night of All Saints' and Halloween has ceased to be associated with death and is beginning to be seen as a celebration in which children even adults dress up in extraordinary outfits pretending to be creatures of the ams alla, and is that they have fun asking for sweets.

In the photo, with my young children, we gathered as a family to get all that creativity, good costumes, excellent food, games and contests, today my already grown children celebrate this day in the same way.
