Un juego común entre los talladores de madera, pues es una estructura semicircular que en una parte se le da forma de punta. En ella, se coloca por lo general un clavo, tornillo o punta roma de metal, con la cual, se considera que el trompo “baila” o gira.
Este juego consiste en enrollar el trompo con un cordón, para luego lanzarlo con fuerza y hacerlo girar rápidamente sobre su propio eje.
En ocasiones la punta se hace con clavos para crear juegos donde el ganador deberá fracturar el trompo de su contrincante. Actualmente se elaboran con plástico en su mayoría.
