As a little girl in this world, I had a lot of dreams #het beautiful was at that age that everything was possible, if only you kept dreaming.. Very many of these dreams are no longer there or the dream has changed #een thing not, even then I said I wanted to be a mother early, because being a mother seemed great to me. #Toen I was in the early 20s, I welcomed my first child named Michiel. 4 years later Yesse followed. A lot of things in my life have gone differently than I had hoped. I regret a lot of things, and some things I would have even wanted to turn back if I could. One thing I never regretted, my children. Every day when I look after them, I feel so proud. Even though I can sometimes paste them behind the wallpaper, I can't miss them. If I have a bad day, they'll make up for my day. When they laugh, I get totally happy myself. When they cry, I'd like to comfort them. The hardest thing about everything is, the older they get, the more you have to let them go. Mama's having a harder time with this than them. If you look after them, you think where has the time gone, it goes so fast and you get so big. On such people you realize that the day of letting go is getting closer and closer. I don't have to think about that time when they have a life of their own and can do it without me. Yet I realize that time will come and it will be healthy. Every age has something beautiful. Who knows what the future will bring them. No matter how life goes, I will always be proud because they are a part of me.
