You can still return the bottles to us in the village without a cap. I don't know how it works in the rest of the Netherlands and abroad. But otherwise, you can also use a screw cap on a water bottle or other caps.

And if you also have cotton swabs, markers or colored pencils, paper, glue gun and scissors at home, you've come a long way. I used a drill myself to make the hole. But if you do that very carefully with scissors, it could also be possible.
