Types of Education

#educacin There are 3 types of education (Formal, Non-formal and Informal), the general characteristics that differentiate each of them are the following:
The first is taught in schools, colleges and training institutions, while the second one arises from groups or community organizations, and finally the third covers everything else; that is, the interaction of the individual with the environment, with family, friends, etc.

Formal Education: Learning normally offered by an education or training center, with a structured nature (according to teaching objectives, duration or support) and concluding with certification. Formal learning is intentional from the student's perspective.

Informal Education: Which is a lifelong process in which people acquire and accumulate knowledge, skills, attitudes, etc., through daily experiences and their relationship with the environment around them. A clear example of this type of education would be the media in general: the Internet, television, books, newspapers, magazines, mobile telephony, radio transmitters, etc.

Non-Formal Education: This type of learning is not offered by an education or training center and does not normally lead to certification. However, it has a structured nature (in terms of teaching objectives, duration or support). Non-formal learning is intentional from the student's perspective.
