You may be wondering what that peculiar black thick stripe on the Header and the weird drawings underneath depict.
Well, that thick black stripe between the clouds is the first photo that was accidentally taken in a glider with the very first camera that was designed. This was done in the early 19th century by Mr Daguerre with his Daguerre camera.
Before that, only the Camera Obscure existed. A square structure where an image with lots of light was projected onto the back wall.
For a long time, Daguerre experimented with chemical mixtures to capture images that he caught in his square container with a lens. In the long run, he succeeded. At that time, the exposure time lasted a long time before you finally got a fixed result. But Daguerre accidentally exploded at the very beginning of his photo, photographing a cigar-shaped UFO. So he captured the very first photo of that.
