Vacation Beach House Roompot Camperland.

For years, I've dreamed of staying in a beach house that is also on the beach and overlooks the water. Nowadays, there are plenty of beach houses or beach houses, whatever they are called. But the prices don't lie. And we, John and I, don't want to pay thousands of euros for a week, let alone 2 weeks.

But now my son came up with the idea to go out in the spring (yes this year) and book a nice house. We started at Centerparcs but that quickly ended. Not cheap and we usually make little use of the facilities, so we weren't willing to do that.

Then I caught my eye on a piece of advertising about Roompot holidays. Yes, sometimes advertisements on the internet are a bit useful. But because we built a cottage in a hill in Gulpen, Hilside, in June 2022, last year,. Did we think they might also have a nice and separate cottage that we could rent in another part of the Netherlands.

That was right! In campland. Beach Resort Roompot had very nice beach houses on the Oosterschelde in Zeeland. Not cheap either. Because when I looked for the month of July for 4 people, we would lose almost €7,000 in 2 weeks. Quite greedy but when Ricardo and I started looking hard, we got a price package for around €1000, - for a midweek with 3 people. Not really cheap yet but doable. We booked right away.

And last May 22, the time had come. On Monday, we left for Zeeland for Kamperland. Together with the dogs, we lazed and walked on the beach for a midweek. In advance, we had received a code from the beach house so that we did not have to go to the reception first. Ideal. However, upon arrival, it turned out that the sliding door from the living area to the terrace did not open. It moved slightly but did not open. But first called the front desk and asked if someone from the technical service could come. She said that they were going to do their best to send someone within 24 hours.
