Valentine's Day Heart on Canvasboard Artwork
Want to make something special on Valentine's Day? Making beautiful art with a sweet personal heart? Make that an artwork out of a blank canvas board, some washi tape, paint, and an MDF (or cardboard) heart! It's easy, for any age, and with some love put into it, it looks really nice. A nice Valentine's Day gift for your Valentine!

Needed:
- Canvasboard or canvas, any size can
- Washi tape (any width can) or watercolor tape (purple Action). The tape must not stick too well and must be removable without damaging the canvas. You can simply tear the washi tape, scissors are not necessary.
- Paint with a brush, or just use wax crayons (see examples of wax crayons when you scroll further down)
- Heart with possibly an extra edge. (These MDF/wooden hearts are available at De Knutseljuf, for more info: ilse@deknutseljufnl) If you don't have wooden hearts, you can also simply cut them out of sturdy cardboard!
- Glitter stones or sequins to decorate the edge
- String or ribbon to make a bow tie for the heart
- Glue (eg Collall all-purpose glue) and scissors.
- And, of course, some love!

Crisscross the washi tape onto your canvas. This is also possible with 1 roll of tape, you can remove it later.
