Vegetable Crafting
Fruit and vegetables are a theme that is widely covered in school and at the shelter. There's so much to tell about it too! Take the tomato, for example. Everyone recognizes the tomato by its beautiful red color. But where and how do they grow exactly, what do the tomato plants actually look like? How do tomatoes taste and what can you make with them all? Tomatoes are actually a vegetable, but if you count them with fruit, you can do so.
Of course, the educational theme of vegetables also includes being creative.! at Host parent Anja (in Ede) the kids have been crafting delicious tomatoes. Just a paper sign and red paint! As you can see in the pictures, the kids have been cozy and each made their own cheerful tomato. They're too fun not to share here!
