I never thought I'd have so much fun from my vegetable garden. It's really become a ritual for the past few months. Every morning I turn on the coffee, look at the plants in the windowsill and do a round of garden. So nice to watch everything grow. This morning I suddenly saw a mini pickle and a cauliflower.

Now my garden is in a wooded area. Really alone, I'm never in the garden. Most of the time I can greet Mr. Squirrel or Mr. Woodpecker early in the morning and of course the great tits who start a family in my birdhouse, but the last few days there are more and more garden friends to find. And then it's mostly about the vegetable garden friends.

It turns out that not only do I enjoy my vegetable garden, but also the May beetles, caterpillars, lice and snails. The first days seemed to be only snails, which I nicely removed twice a day, but now I discover more and more friends in the garden going away. And the snails? They know that I lovingly remove them and therefore play hide-and-seek now, but leave their tracks in my heads.
