Following on my explanation of the slow cooker. A delicious recipe for making vegetable soup from the slow cooker. It takes some time (but it goes without saying with a slow cooker) but you get a delicious vegetable soup!

Ingredients:
Leek (1 Half)
Garden Spice Broth (2.5 Litres)
Celery (1 Piece)
Mushrooms (1 Hand)
Minced Meat (500 Grams)
Red Bell Pepper (1 Half)
Celeriac (1 Piece)
Cauliflower (1 Quarter)
Onion (2 Pieces)
Carrot (4 Pieces)
Salt
Pepper
Vermicelli


Method of preparation Cut the vegetables into cubes/strips Make the broth. Spin the minced meat balls (you can season it) Put the broth in the slow cooker Add the vegetables. Add the balls. Let this simmer on “Low” 5.5 hours. Add the vermicelli after about 5 hours. Stir the soup a few times for the last half hour to avoid clumping of the vermicelli. Season the soup with salt and pepper.
