Venice, how long...
Venice.
How much longer?

Venice is unique, authentic and surprising. The only question remains, how much longer?
All that water must undermine the buildings, right. In addition, you have the rising water, which just seems (is) unstoppable. In the pictures you can see the image of Venice in 2022. Beautiful and authentic as said, but also wet! You see the seagulls instead of the pigeons in San Marco Square. They stand with their feet in the water while the tourists walk on the pontoons that are ready from the side all over the city or, as already used here. The waiters who are supposed to serve in the square are already wearing boots. (really at every terrace in San Marco Square)
The water blows over the edge of the quay every time a boat passes or when there are strong gusts of wind. The various stores have a permanent mop and shoe protectors are sold here, just like umbrellas on a rainy day in an amusement park. The old bookstore has already premeditated the books in boats and bathtubs to limit damage in the event of a flood.
If you want to see Venice for yourself, don't wait too long.
