In our solar system, a number of planets rotate. Our Earth, counted from the sun, is the third.

The two specimens between us and the sun deserve our attention.

Take the planet Venus, for example. In terms of size, very similar to the Earth. The year lasts a little shorter, the day lasts extremely long.

Because Venus is able between us and the sun and has a different year length, you can observe, just like with our moon, sham figures. Only the side that is turned towards the sun is then clearly enhanced by the full cloud cover of Venus. At certain times of the year you can see Venus well when the sun is just setting. We call the bright Venus dot “evening star”. In other times of the year you can observe Venus just before sunrise. Then Venus is “Morning Star”.
