Vereda del Lago or Paseo del Lago

Maracaibo Venezuela owns Lake Maracaibo, which is the largest in South America.

It is located in the state of Zulia, with maximum extensions of 110 kilometers wide and up to 160 km long, with an area of approximately 13,820 square kilometers and its coastline stretches for 728 kilometers, reaching a maximum depth of 50 meters in the rainy season.

And that it has enormous oil wealth where most of the country's crude production is extracted.

Being an exceptional phenomenon in the geography of the world: it is the only lake that is related to a sea the Caribbean Sea.

Just as there is a tourist viewpoint that was previously called Paseo del Lago and today we know it as Vereda del Lago. This is the place in the city that has the greatest contact with nature, because it is the hottest city in the country. Here we can find trees that are scarce in the rest of the city and we see the imposing Lake.

Nice photographs, and nice memories for me, whenever we went to Zulia, we visited it, there they sold some delicious cocadas, it is a very nice place
