Vincent van Gogh was born in Groot-Zundert, in the south of Holland, in 1853. Until 1880, when he decided to become a painter, he was an art dealer, teacher and preacher, he became famous for the use of light and color.
He painted thick strokes on the canvas with thick strokes or with the edge of a palette. His post-impressionist work influenced most of the main artistic movements of the 20th century.
