Vincent van Gogh and a mouth cap

Sometimes the pieces of the puzzle fall into place...

I draw lousy, really. Let me draw a puppet and it looks like a traffic controller with convulsions. A dog is most like a cross elephant x giraffe with rhinoceros-head.
It's always gambling for the kids what I've signed, with the greatest hilarity of that.

This morning, the kids are drawing while I'm sitting on my ass. We talk about daily things: how it is with the new guests, what they want to do today, that we really have to go to the water tomorrow (as it will be 37/ 38 degrees). And yet the conversation goes back to the mouth caps: the three sisters are quite high. “Stupid things, ““when does it stop?”, etc. Of course they may express their frustration, but I do not have the strongest answers for them at this early morning.

“Hey, girls! What if I just do like Vincent van Gogh...?”
“Yes? He cut his ear off. And?”
“Yes! What if I do that on two sides!?”
“Then you can't put on a mouthcap anymore!!! Hahaha hahaha!!”
“Yes, Mom, and your drawings might be worth more!”

So, two birds with one stone! Tjakka!!
