You look lovely
Not big
But your appearance is
You come in various colors
Some of you have soft green leaves
Tactile leaves
My grandma had you in yellow, purple, orange and dark red
You were always in her window sill
She gave you water every week
The dead flowers were removed daily
She also talked to you
You were often told that you were beautiful
That you did well
Hopefully, she'll enjoy you in heaven too

Yes, violets are plenty at this time of year. Even the municipal roadsides are full of them. Just like with daffodils.
