Visit to the Museum of Natural History
Yesterday the city dawned with — 1 degree Celsius, going out for me was not an option, a Maracucha accustomed to 38 degrees or more on a good day, here with cold bandages, however they were not the best plans of my son, who had requested some tickets to visit the Museum of Natural History, so with all the cold in our bodies we set out on a trip to Cromwell Rd, South Kensington, London SW7 5BD, as soon as you reach the corner of the street, the imposing building from afar is impressive, dating from 1880, it is a Romanesque building, clad with terracotta, which was very necessary for the walls to be protected from moisture and soot in Victorian London
After making a small queue with the punctual opening of the museum at 10:00am, an amazing English characteristic, we passed our tickets through a scanner and entered us through the majestic door to an impressive hall where you are greeted by an impressive blue whale skeleton hanging from the ceiling, which has been there since 2017, this 120-year-old skeleton is nicknamed hope, this whale was wounded by a whaling ship and was stranded on Irish shores in 1891.
