Waarom vieren wij Pinksteren?

Wat aan Pinksteren voorafgaat
Pinksteren is het laatste grote christelijke feest, na de hierna genoemde feesten. Met Kerst wordt gevierd dat Jezus Christus als mens op aarde kwam. Met Pasen vieren wij dat Jezus Christus uit de dood is opgestaan en leeft in een verheerlijkt lichaam. Met Hemelvaart vieren we vervolgens dat Hij de aarde heeft verlaten en op een wolk naar de hemel is opgevaren.

Mooi dat je een heldere uitleg geeft van Pinksteren; ik heb de indruk dat de meerderheid van de inwoners van NL geen flauw idee heeft van de betekenis van de Christelijke feest- en gedenkdagen.
