Walk home from school
What a lovely day it was.
The sun was shining, but it was still quite cold.
Nevertheless, charlene and I had decided to walk from school, which is almost 7 km from home.
While walking, enjoy chatting about anything and everything.
Really another mother daughter moment, because we are doing a great job with the good intentions of 2023.
I need to lose weight anyway, but charlene was also a little overweight, so we'll do this together.
I have now lost 65 kilos and charlene 2 kilos.
I think it's really neat, though.
We try to do our 10,000 steps every day, and we just do 30 minutes of hula hooping in the living room.
Of course, we have also adapted our food. We don't eat bread anymore but we do eat more fruit. We don't brag about dinner and later in the evening we grab our protein yogurt that we buy at the lidl.
We don't eat sweets anymore. If we are in the mood for something tasty, we will just grab a piece of fruit from now on and that is really easy for us.
But when we were walking home, we walked by somewhere and saw those wooden birds standing in the water.
Pretty nicely made, I think.
Of course, I really had to take a picture of that.
A little further up, we saw a duck that was enjoying sunbathing, at least that's what it looked like.
All at once, she's charlene, gosh, mama, how beautiful nature is, isn't it. You can enjoy that so beautifully, right.
And I was like, yes, kid, you're right too. In nature, you can often also relax so much. And that is very nice.
I hope you were also able to make a good start to the new year.
We are doing a good job with our intentions and we are not planning to stop yet.
