Report of an organized walking tour; 5 kilometers in The Hague near the Uithof, a beautiful nature reserve. We literally went on smooth ice.

The blessings of georgahikes
We had not participated in official walking tours for weeks, unfortunately. We saw beautiful tours in the books of the hiking associations. For all kinds of reasons, it didn't happen every time. Then one of us (or the cat) was sick again, then the weather was bad. So it didn't really get on with that.
Actually we had Vlissingen on the program, but because the cat was back on the medicine we thought it was too far. So we did not get further than The Hague.
We were members of two walking associations, The Dutch Hiking Association and the KNBLO (Royal Dutch Federation for Physical Education). These unions have now merged.
1x rennend over dun ijs gegaan (daar kwam ik pas aan de overkant achter) en 1x met angst en beven over een bevroren meer gelopen. Goed gegaan, maar nooit meer.
