Last #weekeind, we went away for a weekend with our children and their #honden. The “journey” went to Saint #Maartensdijk. #Tholen. A small spot on the #Oosterschelde. Of course, I took many pictures of the children, but certainly also of the dogs playing. A thankful topic for the #fotograaf 😆

But I see myself as #Natuurfotograaf, so I was hoping beforehand that I would have the opportunity to shoot the #opkomende, or #ondergaande #zon. I must confess that I haven't seen the rising, but the setting sun has made me very #tevreden.

But besides the fact that we had #prachtig weather during the day, with the accompanying sunsets, we also had the #langverwachte #regenbuitje. I saw the sky change late in the afternoon. No more #stapelwolken, but windy soft #sluierwolken. Change was coming. The long-awaited #regen was coming and possibly the switch from #zomer to #herfst came now. I looked at #buienalarm and did it every 15 minutes. Until I said to my wife, “the rain is coming, I'm going to the Eastern Scheldt” She wanted to come along, because the air more and longer the #spectaculairder.

Together we have been enjoying the approaching #onweersbui . We were treated to a loud crackling thunderstorm, and arrived at the cottage just in time not to get wet by the rain . It was a very heavy, but short thunderstorm with #hagel wind and later strong #regendruppels. Welcome raindrops :-)
