As an image thinker, I sometimes become a hearofrole of all new terminology. Often it's overflowing hypes and I leave it for what it is. It wasn't until I started visualizing what they mean by “Web 3.0” in sketching that cryptos, blockchain and NFTs are keepers.

  • Crypto (coin) : Code that records you're the owner of digital money.
  • Token : Code that shows you are the owner (identification) and allowed to perform an action (authorization)
  • NFT : Code that shows you are the owner of a non-interchangeable digital item. For example, a concert ticket, a photo licence, a weapon in a game or a work of art.
  • Blockchain : a method of recording data that is used for tokens, among other things.
  • Exchange : place where you manage and exchange cryptos. The bank for cryptos.

The web is not tangible. It's online, digital, virtual. I therefore omitted arrows for physical products and services in the sketches.
