In the Spring of 1971, I first filled my lungs with air and the world was allowed to know that. I was there!
Immediately a red thunder with my fire-red hair and swirling character. I never sat still.
My childhood was complicated, to say the least. Something I really needed to get over, but what I now see as the best thing that could happen to me because it made me the woman I am. And there's nothing wrong with that!
As a nomad I have moved from city to city in my life, I even lived abroad, but by now I have found my peace with my dear husband, 2 beautiful children, my wonderful Vizsla dog Boaz and the bizarre Van kat Yoda in the beautiful rural town of Houten, just under the smoke from Utrecht.
As soon as my fingers were able to hold a pen, I started drawing and writing. As an ambidexter (two-handed) I could even do it at the same time, something that is unfortunately quite distracted to me at school.
Bah, school was boring and I found it really hard to get conditioned. I have therefore been fortunate, after wandering as a legal economist, to be able to make writing and illustrating my profession.
I already have quite a few books to my name and regularly illustrate magazines and children's books. Equally, it's not really something you can live on richly in this country, so it's literally love work, old paper. It's okay, I don't have to live out of it.
Here I would like to share stories and illustrations, as well as many of my other pursuits and brain spinings. To think of my plant obsession, I have 200, my sports perils, living with rheumatism, autism and Gilles de la Tourette, writing and reading books, my passion for Norway, my allotment, the wonderful walks with my dog, geocaching, crafting and fruttering, the keto lifestyle that I follow, cook and bake, my refurbished caravan Cosy ROSI and whatever else may come to mind.
You will now begin to understand my nickname Kamikaze, I've been overwith passion all my life. I love and love everything and I regularly collapse. Life is never boring with me!
I'm a separate, indeed, but 1 thing is for sure, I love life.
