What are adverbs

An adverb is a word, which modifies or limits a verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, or Conjunction. adverbs are used to express the relation of time, manner, place, reason, or degree. Examples are last year, this morning, relatively, completely, adversely, very, heavily, too, because of, etc
Let us consider the following example:
Anurag is very beautiful
He died last year
The interview was slated to commence by 10 a.m.

Classes of adverb include simple adverbs, interrogative adverbs, and relative adverbs

Simple adverbs are those which show the time, place, Manner, degree, reason e t c of any part of speech; Examples are:

• Adverb of reason (Why)
  We will leave early so that we can get there on time.
  He could not make the team because of his height.
• Adverb of time (When)
  The school will resume on the 10th of July 2020
  My wife gave birth last week
• Adverb of place (Where)
  Prof. Richard has gone to China
  The conference was held at the conference center New York., London
• Adverb of manner (how)
  She ran awkwardly
  The America footballer team lost the match gallantly
  Adverb of degree(How much)
  I love you wholeheartedly
  Charlie is highly talented
  
  Interrogative adverbs are those, which are used in asking questions; Examples are:
  When did you see him?
  When did you see Jack?
  How did you do come here?
  
  Relative adverbs are those, which are used as a relative pronoun with antecedents expressed stressed.
  That was the time when I woke up.
  (Here, the adverb when refers to the noun'time'just like a relative pronoun, and also join two sentences (that was the time and I woke up). Such that the adverb when is called a relative adverb, and the noun time is antecedent)
  
  
  Adverbs, it should be noted, at the most mobile item in a sentence. This is so because adverbs can occur at any position in a sentence, in the beginning, the middle, or the end. An adverb can also be identified through the '-ly' suffix consider the following: beautifully, comfortably, approximately, unusually, regrettably, etc.
