The Hobbit is a creative film by Fran Walsh, Jackson, Phillipa Boyen, and Guillermo del Toro and controlled by Peter.

Armies In The Hobbit

Based on the book, it shows that the five armies in the Hobbit were; Elves, Men and Dwarves, Wild Wolves, Goblins, also known as ( Orcs).
There was also an army named Eagles, though it didn't appear until the end of the battle. This is the reason why it is not included among the others.
The film used two armies of the Orcs, which were the first to arrive at the battle. At the same time, the second army of Orcs was attacking from the North.

Elves

Five hundred dwarves, two hundred lake men, formed themselves up on 1000 elves. They established a rearguard across the valley to lure the Orcs and later on destroy them.

After seeing them in the forest, the elves didn't help the dwarves because they first declined to answer the elves' questions. As a result, there was no more trust between them.

Initially, the elves did not have enough fighters to go to war as the second age where they had a large number.

The Lake Men and the Dwarves

Lake men had a good relationship with the dwarves because their king was under the mountain before the reign of Smaug.

Bilbo and the dwarves arrive in the land of the lake men to convince the people that they are the true heirs to the riches. Moreover, the dwarves and the lake men were good business partners and had respect for each other.
Lake men used to buy things the dwarves made, like toys and tools.

Wild Wolves

Wargs were under a family of wolves who lived in the mountain. Some were captured and used by the Orcs, and the wargs lived to their wolf reputation.
Their movements were put on cease everywhere. Also, they liked each other with the orcs. In the Hobbit, they used to speak and make plans.

Remarkably, the wild wolves would ride on the backs of the Orcs during the battle.

Goblins (Orcs)

Orcs were males with the culture of misty mountains, white hair of a size of 2.7 meters. Great Orcs was a prominent goblin leader during the third age of hobbits. They were massive creatures.

You will see in the film that the capturing of dwarves and Bilbo and put in goblins cave. This is because the Orcs' leader wanted to know what their mission was on the mountain.
